Our Approach
Bridging the African Edtech Gap
Recognising the unique needs of the African Edtech landscape, we adopted a venture studio approach for SEF. This decision was informed by a thorough analysis of gender, education levels, countries, and founder experiences, as well as a review of funding trends and gaps in the education sector. Our findings indicated that a venture studio model offers a more comprehensive and impactful solution compared to accelerators and grand challenges. To solidify our approach, we collaborated with African entrepreneurs and government stakeholders in a design sprint.
